Our art curriculum is planned using the National Curriculum. We have created a whole school progression map to enhance the curriculum. Teachers use this long term planning to plan units of work and deliver individual lessons. 

The Arts are important at Norbridge Academy and this is reflected in the curriculum that we have created for art, design and technology and music. 

Our art curriculum aims to develop children’s critical abilities and understanding of their own and others’ cultural heritages through studying a diverse range of artists. Through our arts curriculum, children study an artist every term.
